Disch’s Rt 53 Tavern never disappoints !!! I live near Rhode Island and do not get here as often as I like . The food is always amazing and the staff could not be nicer . It was nice to see Paul the owner he is by far one of the best owner operators around . If you have not been to this gem of a restaurant I would certainty make it a point to treat yourself and go .

Risotto cakes were amazing. The red sauce is absolutely delicious. The French onion soup was good but extremely salty, would likely be good with a mixed drink or as an appetizer with additional bread to cut the salt.

Sorry, but I couldn’t wait to take a bite!! Even the customers next to me were amazing! I’ve known Michelle at the bar from growing up in the same town, she’s been a delight both times I’ve been here and made great drinks and always immediately responsive to requests :) Had the bread and a side house salad with cilantro lime dressing along with a spicy margarita, all delicious! Tried the Pizza special; pepperoni, sausage, banana peppers and caramelized onions.. also fantastic!! I should have ordered a little well done, I always forget and I like it crispy. Don’t let that comment take away from the fact that it was cooked perfectly and the crust was fluffy! Thanks for the great night!
